a Potential adventure

So yeasterday I was honored to be one of the top50 Dubai finalists in Potential season 4 .. and for that I was invited to attend a workshop for networking and mentoring.

My dear husband stayed with my girls, and I told Joury that mommy is going to a competition, she asked about what? I said a competition about ideas!

After I came back, she asked me: did you win ?! she was so sleepy, we didn’t had any chance to talk, we just had a picture, and then she went to bed.

Today I told her,let me tell you more about yesterday:  first when I went there I was a little bit scared because I am going to meet people I haven’t met before.

She said : that’s is ok mummy, me too I was scared when I went to the mosque with daddy the other day,  there was a lot people and  he was doing prayers moves and I was scared to do them infront of everyone ..i said why? She said I don’t know .. go on continue your story ..

Me: then I talked to some of the ladies they were very nice and I wasn’t scared anymore ..And then they teached us how to turn a idea to a real thing to a real business, she said : you mean how they build it .. I said yes kind of ..

And then what ?

I told her I spoke to some ladies there was a lot of beautiful ideas .. some for sewing clothes  , and for doing a theater , she said : I know mummy we bring some sticks and put some figures on them and do a pretending show  Me : yes this is a great idea joury ! my idea is project for the little girls, she said : did they like your idea ? I said : I don’t know yet .. but I hope they will.

Joury : and what did you do else? Why you stayed for too long?

Me -After that they offered us pizzas and salads for dinner .. she said : yes I know , I heard you yesterday telling dad something about  you being  pizza, I said no I was excited before going out from home so I didn’t eat at home but when I went there I felt relaxed and I eat pizza.. she said : you mean there was a lot of people talking so you eat all the pizza ?! me : not exactly !

Then what ? that is it. I went back home.

I am sharing this with you, to encourage everyone to talk more with their kids, my daughter is only 4 and half years old, but she was really enjoying and listening carefully to what I was telling her ..so keep talking and bonding with your children because they are you true forever friends  .. !
